Catholicism included. Mexico is one BIG example that has always bugged me. You have an entire nation whose inhabitants ancestors fought and died (SLAUGHTERED) to resist the spread of the the foreign religion (Christianity and all of its forms). Yet, in just a few generations after, you have some of the most devout religious people. They totally forgot their heritage and that their ancestors faced a convert or die ultimatum. Now they embrace it as if it had always been there. Humans...they boggle my senses.
