Caught this song on the radio today - its just too bad Keith wasnt a veteran himself, so he could truly sing this in the first grammatical person. But hey- his dad was a soldier, and Keith worked in oil fields, played semi pro football, and has performed for our troops numerous times in the Middle East. I still wonder if he should have sung it second person tho- like this: Hes an American Soldier... Then he could change it to the first person when he performed it for the troops so they could sing along
