Cautious people are bound to strive and hope for the best, it is the humankinds own inherent potential which binds them to such noble goals. Cautious people are also bound to expecting and being prepared for the worst, it is the humankinds own history which binds them to such necessary precautions. When cautious people appear weak its because they are waiting to see if you are going to exploit their so-called weakness, and stab them in the back as always, if given a chance to do so. When cautious people appear strong its because they are trying to stop you from doing something regrettably stupid, by allowing you to see how small you truly are, this usually works for the at least mildly reasonable. When even that fails, and youre still trying to prove how big you are by doing the expected stupid thing, the cautious people turn into the most brutal and remorseless people around the village.
