Cavs roster is at 20. It will go to 15 by season start. It wont be easy, the rookie talent is deep. This is my second attempt to guess at the 2013-14 roster. 1/PG Irving, Jack, Dellavedova. Irving gained ten pounds and developed a floater. Jack is the first guard off the bench. He is a legit 1/2 guard, a vet, and a high character guy. Perfect, though injured. I hope Dellavedova never sees the floor. Third PG is honestly Waiters. 2/SG Waiters, Karasev, Taylor. Waiters is in ridiculous shape and is full of aggression. Karasev is CJ Miles at 19. Jermaine Taylor can score; other than him, Waiters is the only other true SG on the team. 3/SF Clark, Miles, Felix Earl Clark can D 3s and 4s, and runs the floor, and rebounds, and can guard Lebron. CJ Miles is a scorer, can shoot from anywhere, and is a cagey veteran. Carrick Felix can guard 2s and 3s, is a skateboarder and has a Masters in Communications, and is an energy guy. Alonzo Gee is a favorite of mine, but is redundant now. 4/PF Thompson, Bennett, Sims. Thompson shoots free throws at 75% right handed. I shit you not. Bennett can do it all, seriously. Hes the future. Hes so young, we bring him off the bench and beat teams with depth. Sims is everywhere, and can play 4 or 5. Give him a jersey over Kadji, though Kadji will play for the Heat if we cut him. 5/C Bynum, Varejao, Zeller Bynum will miss preseason, slowly recovering from knee surgery. He weighs 285. Varejao is the first big off the bench, but will start the season as a starter. Zeller gained 10 pounds and takes charges, and is recovering from an emergency appendectomy. Diop is currently on the team because Bynum is in recovery. So I have them cutting Kadji, Gee, and Diop. I can live with that. Kadji over Felix, maybe?
