Cayman Islands anyone? JOB DESCRIPTION: ABA Therapist – Cayman Islands Currently recruiting a small team of ABA Therapists to work in the Cayman Islands. This is a great opportunity for those looking to escape the Canadian weather, while gaining a range of experience working with children and youth with autism and a dual diagnosis. Successful candidates will also be eligible to receive BACB supervision. Qualifications for the Successful Candidates Include: • Possess a minimum of a college diploma or university degree in the field related to behavioral science technology, psychology or social services. Preference given to those with a Masters Degree in the related field. • Minimum 2 years direct experience working with children and youth with severe and challenging behaviors; possessing a working knowledge of autism, dual diagnosis and mental health disorders • Current CPI certification, First Aid and CPR and strong crisis intervention skills are required • Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and team work skills, with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations • Proven ability to effectively implement feedback; with strong adherence to clinical recommendations and treatment procedures; while being able to exercise sound clinical judgment and work independently • Possess a minimum G2 Drivers License; as this position requires working across school, home and community settings on the island A minimum 18-month commitment is required for the position. BACB supervision is provided for successful candidates. Salary range to be determined based on level of experience.
