Celebrate Back to School with Illinois Star Centre’s Back to School Event, Saturday August 3rd from 12pm - 3pm. There will be Games, Prizes, Local Vendors & Entertainment. Mr. Jelly Belly will be at The Country Porch. Scholastic Book Fair will be held at The Learning Zone. Come bounce on the Dragon Playland provided by Inflatable Fun. Kids can register in Center Court to win, by random drawing, a backpack filled with school supplies. Andy & Friends will be performing on Center Court Stage from 1pm - 2pm. Donations will be accepted in Center Court to benefit Gum Drops. Gum Drops, NFP provides a weekend backpack of child-friendly food to help enhance the quality of life for at-risk children throughout Southern Illinois. Gum Drops is requesting the following items: Granola Bars Poptarts Applesauce Pudding Packs Jello Packs Cereal Bars Fruit Cups Trail Mix Oatmeal Cheese & Crackers Peanut Butter & Crackers Small Cereal Bowls or Mini Boxes Raisins Vienna Sausages Chef Boyardee: Beefaroni or Spaghetti Easy Mac Bowl or Individual Servings Soups on the Go, Ramen Noodles Bumble Bee Chicken or Tuna Salad Gold Fish Packages Bean-n-Franks Fresh Fruit
