Celebrate Faith speaker Katherine Dang is an educator, homeschool consultant, conference speaker, historian and author. She is a first-generation Chinese American. Born in San Francisco, California, she and her family have resided predominantly in the East Bay. Since receiving her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1970, Katherine Dang has been involved in alternative elementary and secondary classroom education as well as in school administration. She is founder and president of Philomath Foundation, a non-profit organization, in which she serves the needs of parents and schools throughout America and in other nations of the world.
