Celebrating Dr. King -- MLK & the Black Experience in American is a really big deal for my home schooled children. SO is music..These kids love ito listen to just about all genres of music.. So a random song was dropped in their laps & they had 1 week to turn it into a MLK Day project w/History & Music Appreciation. They received a C on the project because they are still learning to develop talents, but for their work ethics, they all have an A++ because they were so sleepy, yet, neither one wanted to quit or take or break until their video was done. Even little Katie didnt want to quit...so I gave her a lollipop sugar rush! I hope they still have that type of ambition when they grow up! Happy MLK Day!
