Celebrating my Beautiful Sierras 9th Bday today!!! I was certain she would be a depressed child b/c I cried nearly 24/7 the last 3 months of her pregnancy b/c I had a broken pelvis & coccyx (my almost 10 lb. son broke my pelvis at birth & then @6 mos pg, I slipped on a clear cellophane candy wrapper my 1 1/2 y/ I left on top of the stairs & broke my tailbone). I was in constant pain w/out relief. Though unborn, she was my only companion. I prayed she would be a happy child as I are the only consolation I had... Chocolate!! That is, for sure, a taste that was passed on to her (the cake she ordered today is a chocolate w/buttercream icing & hot fudge filling)!!! Not only was I able to walk after miraculously giving a vaginal birth (Praise God for Dr. Christine Zelencoff in Utah) w/in hours (w/assistance), but HER BIRTH (the natural excreted healing hormones God has created our bodies to produce after giving birth vaginally) HEALED my pelvis! I am forever grateful that I took that journey of faith to have another child after Samuel was born. They are like twins!!! I cannot imagine my life w/out this little girl & the amazing love she radiates everyday!!! She is my cuddlebug & do-righter. Shes a rule follower & loves Jesus, her Mommy & Daddy & brother & sisters. She has a caring heart bigger than the state of Utah, in which she was born. I still enjoy the peaceful-full hearted memories of my 1st night w/her home. My bedroom window was open & there was a rare, summer thunderstorm in the distance. The tranquility of the cool winds w/the rain was starkly contrasted w/the images of Katrinas devastation. But in my arms, my angel laid. All was right in my world again. Thankful for this sweet Angel companion & the beautiful 9 years together & months before, that we shared. I love you, Sierra!!!
