Celebration just beginning in Davidson, North Carolina! Great day to be a Wildcat! Everyday is a great day to be a Wildcat as we say around here but especially today. Blackout Belk(gymnasium) was a success! Davidson dominated Dayton. This was a school effort, The Wildcats played their hearts out. The whole school was behind this W, from the shirtless and pant less swimmers to the famous D Block. To the all around raucous student section to the town that rallied to support their school our school, The cheerleaders, performers(a guy did a handstand on a ladder!), and of course my Pep Band were involved with the whole thing as well. Also, my Clave career began today! My clarinet broke so I had to fight adversity so I bought a new instrument at the store called a clave. I told the store owner that I would perform at his store for my first concert and he was fortunate enough to volunteer his space. Also, I was televised in my first Clave performance along with my fellow pep band members! And my sneakers I ordered for this blackout game came today and I got the email at 2:00, thats what I call a buzzer beater: Sadly, President Obama did not wait for us to start the State of the Union but other than that it was a heck of a Blackout.
