Celinda Lake is a Democrat pollster who works with Republican Ed Goas to form the Battleground Poll group that measures voter trends leading up to elections. Lake also does internal polling for the Democrats to help guide their campaigns. Her new poll is showing the continuously-growing voter disapproval against Obamacare. Here are some highlights: (1) Among respondents who’ve visited Obamacare’s online exchange, 73 percent chose not to purchase coverage — and among that group, the top reason cited was “the price of health insurance policies.” (2) Only 11 percent of Americans expect the overhaul to lower healthcare costs — including just three percent of undecided voters. (3) By 69-31%, voters want the law repealed or significantly changed and the individual mandate repealed or significantly delayed. (4) 56% of UNINSURED Americans disapprove of the law. (5) 41% say the law is already making things worse for themselves personally, while 24% say it is making things better. (6) Undecided voters disapprove of the law by 65-25%. (7) Contrary to the Democrats position that the American people would grow to love Obamacare as it is taking over, the opposite is happening... and happening significantly. As a result, Lake is recommending that Democrats NOT campaign on the law but that they know it is broken and want to fix it.
