Cell Phones are literally the worst thing to ever happen to interpersonal communication & human relationships! I just witnessed a girl throwing up to the point of medical attention being needed after drinking far too much at a party. Her friend assess the situation and says, Maybe we should text her roommate, or text her parents or something... Uhm, what?! Pick up the phone and CALL these people, this is a human life! Damn, people act like they forget why they have an actual phone in the first place! Its almost as if texting between people is starting to now serve as a double consciousness. Just this week, I saw another friend text paragraphs back and forth with this guy about their deep and profound love for each other, then when they are in the same room together, its as if they have never met before, with each sentence spoken almost sounding ashamed or scared. Best believe, when you get a text from me, it is going to sound and look exactly like it would if I called you, or if I were in the same room with you: with lots of exclamation points, emojis, and capital letters!!! #PutDownYourPhones #CallSomeone #UseYourVoice!
