Weather Situation A high pressure system near Adelaide will move steadily east and will cross northern Victoria on Wednesday night and Thursday morning then move out over the northern Tasman Sea by Friday morning. A low pressure trough is expected to enter western Victoria on Friday morning, tracking to the east before moving over the Tasman Sea on Saturday. A weak ridge of high pressure will strengthen over southern Victoria behind the trough, with a cold front developing in the Bight and reaching western Victoria during Sunday. Forecast for the rest of Wednesday Partly cloudy. Winds southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h becoming light in the evening. Thursday 9 October Partly cloudy. Areas of fog about the ranges in the early morning. Light winds becoming northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the middle of the day then becoming light in the late afternoon.
