Central Information Secretary PTI, Dr Shireen Mazari, today made clear that statements made by Younis Al-Gohar supporting Imran Khan and the Azadi March have been made by an individual in own capacity, pertaining to his own beliefs. PTI totally distances itself from such statements as PTI and its Chairman Imran Khan are guided by their faith in Allah and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) being his last messenger. For certain PTI detractors, including certain media houses, to deliberately spread the falsehood of linking a wayward individual in UK, Younis Al-Gohar, to PTI in a desperate attempt to undermine the awakening of the Pakistani nation for its political rights and its fight for justice under the PTI banner and led by the struggle of Imran Khan, is condemnable. Nothing can stop the Azadi call given by Imran Khan and PTI; and to exploit peoples religious sentiments is as shameful as it is dangerous, Mazari concluded.
