Central Montana Medical Center following CDC guidelines in unlikely case of an ebola patient: October 22, 2014 (LEWISTOWN, MT) – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are urging hospitals to prepare for the unlikely event of having to treat a patient with Ebola Virus Disease (EVD), and officials at Central Montana Medical Center (CMMC) are taking the recommendation seriously. The CDC has said only those individuals who have traveled to Liberia, Sierra Leone or Guinea in the past 21 days or those who have had close contact with a confirmed Ebola case should be concerned about contracting the disease.
