Centro wants your views on plans to introduce a modern way of travel called Sprint. Sprint will be a £15 million bus-based rapid transit system featuring vehicles that look and operate like trams but without tracks or overhead cables. It combines the capacity and speed of trams with the flexibility, lower cost and simplicity of bus. It could be running by 2016. People can give their views on Sprint by filling in an online survey by September 21 – and please leave your views on here, too. The route will go from Birmingham to Quinton, serving Birmingham’s entertainment quarter in Broad Street, then along Hagley Road. There will also be two public exhibitions: - Tuesday August 12, 12 noon-6pm, Victoria Square, Birmingham city centre - Saturday September 6, 9am-3pm, outside Marks & Spencer, High Street, Birmingham city centre To complete the survey and for more details on Sprint visit ow.ly/zKzcE
