Cere Bellum ON THE LIST TO BE KILLED TOMORROW ~ NINE YEARS OLD GENTLEMAN A volunteer writes: ”Omar is an oversized Labrador Retriever cross who is with us as his owners are moving to a place not allowing pets. We know very little about him except that he lived with the same family all his life. Omar is one of a kind. He has been well cared for but most likely has "good genes". He looks strong and healthy and sports a nice and well groomed coat. His hair is slightly wiry. His eyes are still quite clear and he walks beautifully on the leash, climbing stairs like a young man. Omar strolls at a good pace but does not pull. He sits and stays on command and seems fine with other dogs met on the way.He is an easy going character, settles close to me upon request and just chills, accepting caresses and watching the scene around him. I saw him today heading for the park. Omar and his caretaker was a great pair. Omar is at the Manhattan Care Center. He might be nine years of age but does not appear to be at the crepuscule of his life. He is going strong and has a number of good years ahead of him. Come and meet this handsome gentleman.
