Chad & I had a wonderful time yesterday wandering the Mulberry st. arts & crafts market (part of the CB festival). We kinda missed out on the Food Truck Frenzy :3 Most of em were almost out of food & half of em were already closed up. :/ BUT, thats ok, as we found the Mercer University Press booth & spent money on books!!! ^_^ I got Whisper to the Black Candle, finally! LOL & a book on Griswoldeville (civil war era). ( they both retailed for over $20 & I got em for $8 & $10!!! :D ) Chad got 2 really nice books on the civil war, too! I told him Id rather spend our money on books! A book in hand is better than a sausage in my belly! LOL I also got some excellent incense from TJ Crafters & some Fabulous goat soap from Shays Soaps. They smell WONDERFUL!!!! ^_^ Then we came home & ate some mighty tasty bar b q Chad made. :D Then it was off to the Indian Mounds ( The Ocmulgee National Monument Association) for the lantern light tour!!! It was Great! Our guide is the park historian & archivist!!! :) He was great!!! (Y) We stayed with the group til we got to the big ceremonial mound, then we wandered off on our own. Went into the temple mound & wandered back to the truck! :D It was wonderful!!! ^_^
