Chad had an endoscopic ultrasound yesterday. Nerve block done but we wont know if it worked for 24-48 hrs. Dr. looked at doing a biopsy of the tumor but too close to his aorta to risk taking the biospy. The only reason for a biopsy would have been to determined where the cancer came from. Both Drs agree it would be highly unlikey for a man Chads age to have to different cancers, colon and pancreatic. So they feel the tumor has spread from the colon to the pancreas. Just praying this nerve block works.....the pain coming from this area seems to be as bad as the ones we found on his liver 3 1/2 yrs ago. So frustrating!!
