Chain Reaction vs Conservation of Energy by: Miles Pelton, Dec. 2013 Chain reaction as in combustion or nuclear reactions involves the disassociation of the components of the atoms and molecules involved in the reaction. Disassociation occurs because the bonds that form the components involved in forming the concerned matter, fragment. When the bonds that form matter fragment the energy that formed the bonding force is released as photons. Photons radiate to the ends of the universe unless radiation is blocked by pigmented atoms or molecules. When radiating photons impact pigmented matter they fragment releasing the energy of which made. One of the photon energy components produces illumination, another ionization and the third produces heating of the matter upon which impacting. That energy no longer exists in the form needed to produce the bonding of components to form matter. It takes energy in the form of elementary particles followed with processing by a photon to produce binding energy. Except or unless a process to reform the three freed energy components into elementary particles, the energy released from the bonds fragmented when matter fragments, is expended. However; the charge of the elementary particles of the disassociated matter is never lost, it is eternally sustained, and the elementary particles are available and capable of forming new matter. This is a continuing process in biology and other chemical actions. Even in those type reactions, energy expended in producing bonding or when bonds are fragmented, is not available to establish new bonds. The energy charge on elementary particles is sustained eternally. As I see it, while matter exists because of the energy in elementary particles, the energy released when inter-atom or inter-molecule bonds are broken cannot be converted to elementary particles and thereby new matter. In fact there is no such thing as matter only elementary particles of energy bonded to form a physical presence therefore the concept of conservation of energy reflected in the E = M c-squared equation is inoperable, defective, kaput. I think it is behooving that physicists provide empirical proof for the conservation of energy law. Until then physicists should cease and desist playing with a stacked deck.
