Chan Sau One of my dearest friends was involved in a serious car accident 3 years ago. As well as serious physical injuries which meant that he was hospitalised for a long time the accident also caused him to sustain a traumatic brain injury and for a long time he had to deal with the serious and debilitating effects this had on his day to day life. There was doubt whether he could go on to regain a sense of normality back to how it was before. Will reminded me how life is so short and so precious, that in an instant how your life can be changed so dramatically and to take every opportunity to live life to the fullest. So even whilst I was out here in Indonesia preparing to represent my country after hearing that he is about to run a marathon to raise money for the charity which supported him through that traumatic time it really put everything in perspective. It also inspires me to post this and ask all my Facebook friends if they would consider making a donation no matter how big or small which will hopefully inspire him as he continues to recover.
