Chances are, the majority of my Facebook friends are planning their day at the races without a single thought for the countless animals who are forced into a life of silent suffering. The vast majority of these horses will become “waste products” when their bodies can no longer cope with the physical demands of this brutal “sport”. Every year, the horse racing industry sends around 18,000 horses to slaughter simply because they are not fast enough to win races. So after youve covered yourself in fake tan, paid a fortune for an idiotic headpiece, filled yourself full of cheap wine, and are falling over in those ugly high heels, stop and have a think about what a disgusting and cruel sport it is that youre supporting! Oh, and good luck! I hope you lose every cent you bet to be part of this bullshit!!
