Change is the only thing in this world thats for certain. As I was listening to Yeezus the other day I was contemplating this. We have a tendency to compartmentalize our current artists and only want to hear "One Thing" from them. Our older legacy artists seem to get a pass on this tho. We judge their catalog as a whole without saying "They Suck" because of 1 or 2 Miss-Steps or Experiments. Can you imagine a world where Miles Davis only gave us "One-Thing"? What about The Who? Willie Nelson? Chuck Berry? Michael Jackson? Quincy Jones? - As you are working on your new music over the next few weeks ask your self.. "Am I making the music that I want/need to make? Am I pushing the art from forward or am I stamping out another "Britney Cyrus 2 Chains Future" clone?" Have a Happy Friday Everyone and Be Greatness!
