The hospital must disclose how many times the surgeon in question has performed the surgery on its premises and the outcomes. - - - The hospital can ask the surgeon this when the surgeon applies for privileges or for renewal of its privileges. It is easy. The hospital has it in its computers. Just give the patient a printout. - - Why should the hospital know when it grants privileges, but the consumer cannot know when the consumer is being sliced open?
