Channel 7/CBS is finally back on Dish Network satellite ... I thought the news people at WSPA showed gross behavior during this nearly 45 day long outage. I personally do not like Dish Network, but from what I heard this was strictly a greed issue on part of Media General, parent company of WSPA. I also think Jack Roper of WSPA acted deplorably. He told everyone to cancel Dish and go with their advertising partner Charter (who has far worse customer service). He called Dish customers idiots. And all of WSPA staff blamed this on DISH when the facts were not able to support the issue - How is Dish, DirecTV, Charter, whoever not doing the national FREE TRANSMISSION NETWORKS a favor by retransmitting their signals FREE and giving them the signals clearer without rabbit ears? I personally have over the air antenna because I dont need the extra bill or to waste time channel surfing, but also because I get 26 channels free over my antenna. Just know that I know someone really close to this issue and Dish customers should know that from what I heard and SAW they did everything they could to protect their customers. WSPA/Media General did everything they could to be greedy.
