Charges, The Trumping Of. When we was first wrongfully charged, arrested and imprisoned, for Burglary, my public pretender Clayne Zollinger presented an offer from prosecutor Blaine Cannon, that he would drop the Felony Burglary if I pled guilty to Unlawful Entry a Misdemeanor. So I asked Zollinger why he would charge me with a felony then right off the bat be willing to drop it for the misdemeanor? He says, well Ron sometimes the state likes to trump up the charges. I didnt know squat back then, and in all of my research since , I have not found anything about, Charges, The Trumping Of. I believe a better term would be, Prosecutorial Misconduct. Here is what I can prove though. Prosecutor Blaine Cannon of Burley Idaho knew we was innocent before he had a warrant issued for my arrest. In attempt to cover up the first wrongful arrest he figured he would just charge us with a felony, and then with the cooperation of our attorneys, secure a misdemeanor conviction and life would go in as usual for them with no concern of what it would do to me. Needless to say Mr. Cannons master minded plan did not work out quite like he expected. Do you remember that day Cannon, probably not quite as well as I do. I especially remember that after all your lies, after switching complainants, contents of complaint and witnesses against us, after entering a falsified document and changing the order of events in your closing statement, oh yes I remember watching you jaw hit the floor when a verdict of Not Guilty was handed down. How bout it Cannon, would care care to comment, hows that working out for you so far? And now the state is considering making the same mistake again. They say history repeats itself. Thats One, One for the money, thats Two, cost Two for the show, thats Three, Three to get ready, are you ready, are you ready, lets go.
