Charlottes Corner Brigadeiro The World Cup 2014 has kicked off so we are bringing a little Brazilian flavour to you today! This lovely treat is similar to a chocolate bonbon and shaped like a truffle. A great new recipe to try at your next tea party or if youre having a BBQ this weekend! What youll need: 40g (1 1/2oz) unsalted butter 25g (1oz) cocoa, sieved 2 x 397g tins condensed milk 175g (6oz) chocolate flavoured sprinkles How to make: In a non-stick saucepan melt the butter over a low heat while mixing in the cocoa completely. Then stir in the condensed milk. Cook over a medium heat, stirring all the time, until thickened and glossy (about 8-10 minutes). The mixture is thick enough when you can pull a spoon through it and briefly see the bottom of the pan. Remove from heat and leave to stand until cool enough to handle. Form the mixture into small balls, then roll in the chocolate sprinkles and eat immediately. Alternatively, chill before serving in small paper cases. realfood.tesco/recipes/brigadeiro.html
