Charter Communications offered my mom & I free upgrades for our Tv & internet receivers. Today I have spent a minimum of 3 hours attempting to get the Internet modem to work correctly after having MULTIPLE employees instruct us over the phone & in person what needs to be done to set it up. After being insured that everything was fine after setting up the modem manually with instructional assistance from call support, I had my Internet crash just after I hung up the phone. Moral of the story: If its free, dont take it.
