Once we were ready to begin, a mortgage broker friend from another state referred us to Tim Halvorson whom I have (still) never met in person. From the very beginning Tim provided one of the best customer service experiences Ive ever had, and I have pretty high standards for service. This will sound like a fake review, but be assured it is very real and representative of our experience! Our timing was bad - putting us right in the middle of the worst time in history to try to get financed - yet Tim was always calm, confident, reassuring, and very responsive throughout the three months we worked with him. He is a true professional. Our situation was complicated, requiring indepth discussions to be processed accurately and Tim took the time to learn and understand our situation to obtain the appropriate documentation resulting in a very good deal. We communicated on a daily basis by phone, email, and texting - sometimes on the weekend. We worked directly with Tim, not through an assistant or associate or clerk or anyone else like the big banks will have you do. Tim provided a concierge like service to us and went far above our expectations. At no point did we feel uninformed or suspicious of his motives, which was very reassuring during such a stressful and extended process involving such a large purchase. At the end when reviewing the escrow documents the financing fees were listed - we were truly shocked to find they were so low. Being aware and appreciative of all the time he spent with us we could only hope he was compensated fairly. I think that feeling alone says a lot about our experience. Thank you Tim and although we have no immediate plans to go through this again, we will be looking for you next time too!
