Check out a message from Coach McFerrin on what our students have accomplished this past week!! Way to go, Doggs! Two of our soccer players Ashley Hagenbaugh and Hayley Morgan signed letters of intent to play next year at Andrews College. Also, Kiana Perez and Tony Rowden will sign their letters of intent today to participate in cross country and track at the collegiate level. Kiana will sign with Columbus State University and Tony will sign with Valdosta State. At our FBLA Region # 13 events we received the following: Katherine Black – 10th in Business Communication Michael Cruickshank – 3rd in Business Communication and advanced to state Brandan Cowan – 1st in Economics and advanced to state Erin Goss – 1st in Help Desk and advanced to state Adam Parker – 1st in Introduction to Business Communication and advanced to state Katherine Black – 6th in Introduction to Business Communication and advanced to state Adam Parker – 3rd in Introduction to Information Technology and advanced to state Michael Cruickshank and Adam Parker – 1st in Marketing and advanced to state Michael Cruickshank scored high enough to be placed on “super team” for state Andrew Freeman scored high enough in Parliamentary Procedure to be placed on “super team” for state Erin Goss – 1st in Impromptu Speaking and advanced to state In this weekend’s FBLA competition at State in Atlanta, we brought home three 1st place finishes at state and will advance to Nationals… Andrew Freeman – 1st in FBLA Principles and Procedures and is on the “super team” representing GA at Nationals in Parliamentary Procedures Michael Cruickshank – 1st in Marketing and is also on the “super team” representing GA at Nationals in Marketing Also, Andrew Freeman is now representing the State of Georgia FBLA as the Northeast Area Vice President for the 2014-2015 school year!
