Check out former #Amerks goalie and #Buffalo native (Williamsville) David Leggio knocking the net off, facing a 2 on 0 breakaway, while playing for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (AHL affilaite of the New York Islanders.) I think this is a pretty funny move, and Leggio is certainly a character. If Matt Hackett has another bad year when he comes back this year, then I think Darcy letting Leggio walk in free agency was a mistake. The #Sabres certainly couldve used Leggio last year after going through 7 goalies, and dressing 9 goalies. Whats your take on this? Funny? smart? Poor sportsmanship? Either way, this is one of the more creative moves used by a goalie, that Ive ever seen.
