Check out these photos of CODAR HF Radars being installed this month as part of Project CONVERGE, funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) Office of Polar Programs. The project includes partners from Rutgers University, the University of Alaska, Fairbanks (UAF), Oregon State University, the University of Delaware, and the Polar Oceans Research Group. The UAF crew is making incredible progress through some very harsh conditions. They have already setup on of the remote sites at Palmer Station. And after a few days delayed by thick sea ice, they made landfall on one of the outer island sites in the Wauwerman Group. They are about a day or two away from that second site up and running. It is a true team effort from CONVERGE/ASC/ECO. To learn more about the project: ioos.noaa.gov/ioos_in_action/stories/antarctic_codar_hf_radar_mar14.html
