Check this out! Over 40+ man hours went into correcting this vehicle. We spoke to a few leaders in the industry about the paint situation on this car. The consensus was not unanimous, but the paintwork was down right horrid. Whether this was a failed coating, a very bad repaint, contaminated paint, or a few other possibilities, the one thing that was evident was, that this corvette was in sad shape. Here are a few close ups of the texture of the paint when we received it. Through wet sanding and leveling techniques, this corvette went from a probably repaint situation, to a show car level shine.
