Cheeky and I are alive!!!!! Please do not worry because all is good. Unfortunately my horse tripped and we got separated for a few stressful hours in Squaw Valley, but with the help of some really amazing people we were reunited and we are both fine. The veterinarian who happened to be the same one who checked us in for the pre ride... checked us out after this grand adventure. He said if there was a horse option for the pull, thats what he would have given us. Cheeky is a naughty boy but we are good and no injuries.... just a few minor scrapes and some feelings of disappointment. I really want to thank all of you who have followed us and supported us along the way. Your comments and encouragement and your humor were wonderfully fulfilling and maybe well have to give it another try next year. Lady Luck was not on our side for this years event.
