Chef Dolce the Pug Greek yogurt frozen treats! Many dogs enjoy the occasional lick of their humans ice cream. I too have been reeled in by those puppy dog eyes. This treat is as simple as it is tasty, and can be prepared in a number of ways according to your pets preferences. Plain Greek yogurt (small containers are usually 5-7 ounces) is the main ingredient, with additions such as peanut butter, honey or any doggy approved fruit. The treats pictured here were made by melting 1/3 cup of peanut butter and spooning a bit in the bottom of each ice cube tray compartment, then topping it with the plain Greek yogurt and freezing for several hours. Alternately, I have used a bit of honey instead of the peanut butter. The blender version is very popular in my house. The yogurt may be blended with one half of a banana, or a few blueberries or strawberries. Please remember to use plain Greek yogurt, not those containing fruit or any other additives. Your fur babies will never miss the real thing!
