Chef plans expansion of NO restaurant 2 hours ago NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Chef Donald Link is poised to grow operations at his Cochon Butcher shop in the Warehouse District. New Orleans CityBusiness reports (bit.ly/1aGvfl6 ) the Link Restaurant Group purchased the building next to Cochon Butcher at 351 Andrew Higgins Blvd. on Oct. 31 for $550,000, according to conveyance records. Records show Warwick Properties LLC was the previous owner of the building, the former site of NOLA Grocery sandwich shop that closed earlier this year. Link says the purchase is part of an eventual expansion that will allow the restaurant to handle more people and alleviate long lines during peak times.
