Chefs For Jimmy Brings Hollywood to Western Mass AGAWAM, Mass. (WGGB) — A touch of tinsel-town here in Western Mass Friday night as Chefs For Jimmy celebrated their 25th year. The annual fundraiser at Chez Joseph in Agawam featured signature dishes from more than 30 area restaurants. This year’s theme – the Hollywood red carpet – complete with plenty of big screen bling. Chefs For Jimmy raises money for the Jimmy Fund that solely supports Boston’s Dana Farber Cancer Institute. And over the years, the event has grown significantly. “We started in the 90’s and it’s been successful,” explained Chefs For Jimmy Co-Chair, Barbara Sadowski. “We started at Mt. Tom on the mountain under a tent with probably 3 or 4 restaurants and then we went indoors and then we outgrew that space and we went to the Big E and then we moved here. And now crystal chandeliers! It’s gorgeous.” To date… Chefs For Jimmy has raised more than 1.3 million dollars.
