Chefs, help! We soaked three types of beans overnight - lentils, black-eyed peas and black beans. Along with all the other ingredients, the beans have been cooking in a crock pot for about 15 hours. The big mistake: Not actually cooking/boiling the beans beforehand. How long do yall think itll take for the beans to actually cook in the crock pot? I just added a cup of boiling water. The beans are currently underdone, still not quite al dente. Thankfully, the flavor is awesome.
