Chelsea FC Manager Jose Mourinho has almost the entire team to choose his starting XI from for the Premier League match against Aston Villa tomorrow. The Portuguese manager spoke to media members at Cobham early today and revealed that the injury Ramires suffered against Manchester City will keep the midfielder off the pitch until after the international break at the earliest. ‘It’s a muscular injury, he won’t be able to play on Tuesday [against Sporting Lisbon] or even against Arsenal, he needs the two-week international break [to recover], maybe he can be back after that,’ – Jose Mourinho The good news is that new star striker Diego Costa is fit to start the match after sitting out our midweek clash against Bolton Wanderers. Whether Costa starts against Sporting in the Champions League Tuesday will be another matter, but Chelsea have Didier Drogba and Loic Remy ready to start should Costa not be fit again. The match against a newly revitalized Aston Villa side could be difficult, the Villains only lost their first league match last week to Arsenal, and some attribute the loss to a wave of illness that spread through their dressing room, leaving 3 players out ill. Chelsea remain undefeated in the league after the emotional draw against Manchester City, and are looking to continue their stay at the top of the table.
