Chelsea finally agree a deal to take long term target to Stamford Bridge Media giants ESPN are reporting that Chelsea have finally agreed to a deal with German outfit Bayer Leverkusen for their attacker Andre Schurrle . The side from west London have been following the German international for a long time now, and have been locked in negotiations with Bayer for nearly a year. Schurrle though is now set to sign a five year deal with his possible new employers, which means that the young German will become Chelsea’s first signing after the return of the ‘Special One’, Jose Mourinho. The 22 year old, who began his career with Mainz, has been playing for Leverkusen for the past two seasons, and has been instrumental for the side, scoring 23 times in83 appearances. He is often deployed as a left winger because of his excellent work rate, pace and stamina level. Kevin de Bruyne, the target of many German clubs, is not a part of the deal even though Leverkusen desperately wanted him, because the Belgian youngster is interested in joining Borussia Dortmund instead. Bayer have now agreed to let Schurrle leave without a temporary makeweight and are set to receive 20 million Euros for their star attacker.
