Chelsea legend Didier Drogba happy to help Eden Hazard follow him - TopicsExpress

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba happy to help Eden Hazard follow him on the road to greatness. Mourinho became frustrated with Hazard at times last season, believing the forward was relying on his talent rather than working as hard as he could to get better. But Hazard has shown signs in the opening games of this season that he is now working harder for the team and thinking more about his game, and how he can be most effective. While Hazard has taken the responsibility to improve on his own shoulders, it is also understood that Drogba has stuck closely to the former Lille star since returning to Stamford Bridge this summer. I’m preparing myself to give something extra to the team and achieve what we want to achieve. Drogba’s mentoring qualities are made all the more important after Chelsea let two of their most experienced players, Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole, leave this summer. - [via The Telegraph]
