Chelsea of England winger Christian Atsu grabbed a hat-trick for Ghana as they thrashed local select side Dream Team 6:1 in a pre-World Cup warm-up game at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday evening. The 22-year-old opened the scoring against the Dream Team under two minutes, and completed his hat-trick before the break in addition to goals by Jordan Ayew and Albert Adomah. After the break, Bright Adjei netted a consolation goal from the spot for the Dream Team when he sent Fatau Dauda the wrong way. However AC Milan star Sulley Ali Muntari capped the win for the World Cup-bound Black Stars late on with a well-taken free kick. The game ended Ghanas first phase of preparations for the global showpiece. They will jet out to the Netherlandson Saturday to continue preparations, including a friendly game against the Dutch national team on May 31. Following that will be a trip to Florida for their final preparations before heading to Brazil where the USA, Germany and Portugal will be waiting.
