Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble - Still Small Voices Audition Dates: Jan 28 6-10pm Category: Non-Equity Audition - Pay: Yes Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble is hosting auditions for its April production of Maren Rosenbergs Still Small Voices: a collection of stories and experiences about life in the West Bank. Seeking Palestinian/Middle Eastern performers of all ages/types, especially character actors comfortable with movement/dance. A plus if you speak Arabic. Auditions are on January 28th from 6-10PM at Fulton Street Collective (2000 W. Fulton Avenue). You will be performing monologues/sides from the script. Seeking: 1 Caucasian female in her early-to-mid 20s 1-2 Palestinian/Middle Eastern males in their 20s-30s 1-2 Palestinian/Middle Eastern females in their 20s-30s 1 Palestinian/Middle Eastern male in his 40s-50s 1 Palestinian/Middle Eastern female in her 30s-40s 1 Palestinian/Middle Eastern female in her 50s-60s+ Time Commitment: Rehearsals are in Feb/March, days/times will be based on everyones schedules. Tech/previews are March 28, 29, & 31 and performances are April 4, 5, 11, 12, & 18 at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Andersonville. Material To Prepare: Sides will be sent with audition confirmation.
