Chicago, IL - Over 10,000+ of Chicago on Sunday, 20th July, 2014 protesting and condemning Israel’s murderuous assault on Gaza. Dr. Khayam Khan Sahab, President Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT), who is on visit to Chicago, also took part in the massive rally with fellow Chicago Hyderabadis, including Irshad Ali Khan sahab, of Islamic Foundation North, in full fervor. His nephew and strong MBT supporter, Ahmed Khan Sahab, also worked closely with the organizers of the rally to coordinate 5 buses on behalf of North Chicago land and suburban Masjids to bring 300 people from there to take part in this historic protest. The marchers filled the streets for ten blocks of famous Downtown Chicago with a sea of Palestinian flags and posters. Dr. Khayam Khan was impressed by the show of solidarity of all communities at the Chicago rally irrespective of cast, creed, and religion in the struggle for human rights. He thought the protest rally was successful as it shut down downtown Chicago for hours raising much needed awareness on this issue among the public at large.
