Chicagos Chance The Rapper is being credited for helping to stop gun violence in the city for the first 42 hours of Memorial Day Weekend. NewsOne reports: Buzzing Chicago artist Chance The Rapper (pictured) was instrumental in a social media campaign that led to a quieting of the escalating gun violence in the Windy City for 42 hours straight. Using Twitter to spread a message of hope, Chance partnered with his father in an ambitious mission to combat the rising murder rate in his beloved hometown. If both Chance and his father really made a difference, then they just accomplished something every public official since the shootings made the daily news hasnt been able to do. Wow! How do you think they can expand this program???
