Chickasaw County 4-H & FFA Fair (July 6-11) Schedule at Follows: Saturday, July 6th Noon - Pet Show with Dog Show Sunday, July 7th 1:00 – 5:00 pm - All non-livestock entries and judging (includes gardening/horticulture) 2:00 pm - Crops judging 3:30 pm - Horse Show 7:30 pm - Exhibit building closes Monday, July 8th 8:30 am - Exhibit Building Open to the Public 12:30 pm - Poultry & Rabbit Show (Poultry will show first) 5:00 pm - Meat Goat Judging followed by Bucket Bottle lamb judging followed by Sheep Judging 7:30 p.m. - Exhibit building closes Tuesday, July 9th 8:30 am - Exhibit Building Open to the Public 9:30 am - Beef Judging 1:00 pm - Bucket bottle calf judging – OR immediately following the beef show 5:30 pm - Swine judging 7:30 pm - Exhibit Buildings Close Wednesday, July 10th 8:30 am - Exhibit Building Open to the Public 8:30 am - Horse Games 10:00 – Noon - 4-H/FFA Livestock Judging Contest (Open to all members) 1:30 pm - Dairy Goat Judging followed by the Dairy cow show. 4:30 pm - 4-H & FFA Carnival Set-up 5:00 - 7:00 pm - 4-H & FFA Family Barbecue & Fun Night 6:30 pm - State Fair Photos and County Council Pictures Taken 7:00 pm - TUG-A-WAR WEIGH-IN 7:30 pm - Introduction of County Council, Crowning of Queen, Fair Announcements & Awards, Tug-A-War Contest 10:00 pm - Exhibit Buildings Close Thursday, July 11th 8:00 am - Complimentary Breakfast sponsored By Security State Bank—Calmar, Charles City, New Hampton, Ossian 9:30 am - 4-H & FFA Livestock Auction 9:00 –11:00 am - Release of Non-Livestock Exhibits
