Chicken Republic begins upgrade of outlets Quick service restaurant, Chicken Republic, says it has started the upgrade of its outlets nationwide and has recorded a remarkable progress. The project, according to a statement by the company, involves a total internal and external make-over of all its outlets nationwide, in a bid to give its customers a new experience. “The exercise has so far been completed in numerous chicken outlets including Lekki Phase 1; Chevron area of Lekki; Adeola Odeku, Victoria Island; Awolowo Road, Ikoyi and Coker Road, Ilupeju, all in Lagos. Also wearing the new look are outlets at Aminu Kano Crescent and Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent, Wuse II, in the Federal Capital Territory,” the statement read. It quoted the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Deji Akinyanju, as saying that the move was in response to consumer feedback for a modern and fresh ambiance. “The renovations are our way of responding to the desires of our teeming and enlightened customers across the country and beyond. Our aim is to offer them more contemporary restaurant environments that are welcoming and comfortable. This way, our customers can sit back and relax as they enjoy our soulfully spiced chicken,” he said. Adeyanju, according to the statement, added that he was optimistic that the massive renovations would give the brand a competitive edge in the QSR industry. It also stated that the Head of Marketing and Public Relations, Mrs. Susan Rotimi, said the renovations were in line with the brand’s policy of constantly raising the standards in the industry. “As a world-class modern African brand, we realise the importance of constantly raising quality and standards in order to improve customer brand experience across all touch points,” she said.
