Typical duties include: changing nappies; supervision of children; serving nutritious meals. Applicants must be prepared to apply for a Blue Card to be able to work with children, which includes a police record check. It is recommended that applicants have a Job Services Australia provider. Applicants must be over the age of 18 years of age. Applicants need to be at a stream 3 or 4 level of access to the Employment Pathway fund. This traineeship is funded by the Federal Government specifically for Indigenous people.
