Child Care Traineeship | Permanent Applicants for this job must identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander (Racial Discrimination Act 1975). Vacancy for Indigenous person to take up a traineeship in Certificate III in Childrens Services. No previous qualifications necessary. Typical duties include: changing nappies; supervision of children; serving nutritious meals. Applicants for this job must identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander (Racial Discrimination Act 1975). Applicants must be prepared to apply for a Blue Card to be able to work with children, which includes a police record check. It is recommended that applicants have a Job Services Australia provider. Applicants must be over the age of 18 years of age. Applicants need to be at a stream 3 or 4 level of access to the Employment Pathway fund. If you do not know what this means talk to your Centrelink consultant or Job Services Australia Provider consultant. This traineeship is funded by the Federal Government specifically for Indigenous people. This is a Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander identified position under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (QLD).
