Chill out people.. Facebook cannot randomly start filming, recording or taking pictures of you from your phone through Messenger app to spy on you. Just because the permissions say it can access your contacts, camera, microphone etc. It is purely so they can link to these so you can actually send/receive messages or pictures/videos. Any webcam styled program NEEDS these permissions or they dont work! Anyway, even if they were spying on you... unless youre tossing off over young kids or planning the next 9/11 youve got nothing to worry about.
