Chinese Ambassador Wu calls on PM Koirala Chinas Ambassador to Nepal Wu Chuntai called on Prime Minister Sushil Koirala on Wednesday. During the meeting at the PMs official residence Baluwatar, they discussed contemporary issues and matters relating to mutual interests, Koiralas press coordinator Prakash Adhikari said. According to Adhikari, there were also talks on constitution-making, relations between the two countries, the Sunkoshi disaster and commencement of the Kodari highway. The meeting took place in the backdrop of rumours of Nepali authorities denying the Chinese governments offer to help the landslide-hit areas in Sindhupalchowk. Lawmaker Sujata Koirala raised questions at the Legislature-Parliament in the same regard on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Koirala also met with the representatives of Nepal-India Public Relations Forum. The representatives requested Koirala to concentrate on Constitution-making. In response, Koirala assured them that the constitution building process is underway. Similarly, secretaries of various ministries met the Prime Minister. Koirala directed them to confidently carry on their task.
